First she was an actress with Robert Hooks and Barbara Ann Teer's "Group Theatre Workshop". After attending The High School of fashion Industries and Fashion Institute of Technology Elaine found a love in producing creative clothing for the masses. Elaine's garments have been featured on Live With Regis and Kathy Lee and the Phil Donahue Show. She has also designed clothing for TV shows such as The JeffersonsThe Cosby ShowThe McCreary Report, and Easy Rider "The Jimmy Winkfield Story" for PBS Television™.

Elaine also worked to produce fashion for the corporate world including working with the McDonald's™ corporation and is responsible for their afro-centric uniform design that is worn by employees across the nation, Revlon, Avon, Essence by Mail Catalog, Le Mac Cosmetics, Wyandanch Security Guard Uniforms, Bed-Sty Restoration "Tent Enclosure Project, Brooklyn, N.Y. and "Black Radiance Cosmetics" Pavion and the "Museum of African Art" to name a few.

Elaine's love of gospel music led her to create designs for singers and choirs including Bette Forbes, Ebony Ecumenical Ensemble, Lafayette Church of God and Christ, New York's Morningside Church, WWRL's Gospel Singers and The El Elyon Church Choir. Some of Elaine's celebrity clients include Roberta Flack, Stevie Wonder, the late Marvin Gaye, Eartha Kitt, Stephanie Mills, X-Clan, the late Miles Davis, The Mary Jane Girls and Mick Jagger to name a few.
